Secondary Math Classes

Location: Vistabella, San Fernando, Trinidad OR online.

All my secondary school Math classes are hybrid.

Students can join in-person or online.

Form 1

Designed to help students navigate the jump from primary to secondary school math. I focus on helping students adjust to new concepts, mathematical language, and ways of thinking while building strong foundations across the Form 1 curriculum. The goal is to make that transition feel less overwhelming and help students start secondary school with confidence.

Friday: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Form 2

A strong foundation is key at this level as students transition into secondary school math. I focus on building conceptual understanding while strengthening core skills and introducing more structured problem-solving. Students gain confidence as they learn to think more independently in math.

Thursday: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Form 3

At this level, students begin to encounter more abstract concepts that require deeper understanding. I focus on strengthening foundational skills while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning. This helps students stay on track and prepares them for more advanced topics ahead.

Tuesday: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Form 4

This is a crucial stage where students consolidate key concepts before entering exam classes. I focus on deepening understanding, improving accuracy, and strengthening problem-solving skills across topics. Students become more confident in applying what they know to a variety of questions.

Wednesday: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Form 5

As students begin their CSEC journey, the focus shifts to mastering the syllabus and developing strong exam technique. I guide students through key topics while introducing consistent past paper practice. This helps them build confidence and become familiar with the structure and expectations of the exam.

Monday: 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Testimonials

Here's what parents have said about working with me...

Debbieann Sealey

If you are considering working with Teenisha, I cannot recommend her highly enough. My only real regret is that I didn’t find her sooner. From an academic standpoint, the transformation has been incredible. My daughter’s confidence in maths has improved significantly; she moved from being unsure to tackling problems with a level of self-assurance I hadn't seen before. But what makes this experience truly special is everything that happens outside of the textbook. My daughter genuinely enjoyed every class. She was part of a small group that didn't just study together—they became real friends who shared a lot of laughter while they worked hard.Beyond the academics, Teenisha and the rest of the group even stepped up to support my daughter in her extra-curricular activities. It was never just about the maths; it was about building a well-rounded, supported individual. If you’re looking for someone who cares about the person as much as the grade, you’ve found the right place.
